Character A is a vampire trying desperately to fit into society without being a problem to humans - and as a college student, it hasn't been too hard. As it turns out, the habits of college life blend well with the nighttime vampiric tendencies, and no one has enough energy to care that A always wears a hoodie even in the warmer months.

Character B is a history buff who eventually figures out A is a vampire. A refuses to say how old they really are. Undaunted, B follows A around whenever they can, asking questions to try and figure it out. Luckily, A has always been horrible at keeping track of history and only remembers the most random events.



They form an unlikely bond, with A tolerating B because it's kinda nice to share a secret, and B just obsessing over A. "How often do you drink blood? Does a stake to heart kill you? How much sunblock do you have to use to not wear a hoodie?"
